Swimming marathon in support of Fight Cancer

This Saturday, a team of 12 Vikings joined the 6-hour relay (Zwemmarathon) at Oostelijk Zwembad. With 1103 swum lanes (27575 metres) they finished the evening in second place! However, neither endurance nor speed were the real focus of the night: Through the competition, Ragnar managed to raise €1170.74 to donate to Fight Cancer, an initiative by the KWF Kankerbestrijding. We are very proud of this outcome and would hereby like to thank all members, families, friends and outside sponsors that supported us with their donations!
